Itineraries

 Tent Peak Climbing Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,338m)
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, where Pure Sherpa Adventure will warmly welcome you. Transfer to your hotel for check-in, followed by a trip briefing. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring Kathmandu’s vibrant streets. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara (900m/2,952ft) Start your adventure with an early morning drive to Pokhara, taking about 7 hours. After arriving, check into your hotel and take time to explore the beautiful Phewa Lake in the evening, enjoying the scenic views and vibrant atmosphere.

Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Kande & Trek to Tolka (1,650m/5,412ft) – 4-5 hours After breakfast, take a drive to Kande, where your trek begins. You’ll trek for 4-5 hours through charming villages and terraced fields, making your way to Tolka. Enjoy the peaceful setting and take in the stunning views of the surrounding hills.

Day 4: Trek to Chomrong (1,960m/6,430ft) – 5-6 hours Today’s trek will take you to Chomrong, a picturesque village with amazing views of the Annapurna range. The hike will take about 5-6 hours, with a steady ascent through forests and small settlements.

Day 5: Trek to Dovan (2,550m/8,364ft) – 5-6 hours Continue your journey with a 5-6 hour trek through dense rhododendron forests, with glimpses of the majestic mountains. Arrive at Dovan, a tranquil spot to rest and acclimatize.

Day 6: Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m/12,136ft) – 5-6 hours The trek today takes you to Machhapuchhre Base Camp. You’ll pass through bamboo forests and scenic valleys, with breathtaking views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and surrounding peaks. It’s a 5-6 hour trek.

Day 7: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,546ft) – 3-4 hours A shorter trek today, taking 3-4 hours, as you make your way to Annapurna Base Camp. The views of Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, and other towering peaks will leave you in awe as you settle into base camp for the night.

Day 8: Acclimatization at Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,546ft) – 2-3 hours Take a rest day to acclimatize to the altitude. You can hike around the base camp to explore the surroundings, enjoy panoramic views, and relax in the beautiful alpine environment.

Day 9: Trek to Tent Peak Base Camp (4,450m/14,596ft) – 5 hours Today, you’ll trek for about 5 hours to reach the Tent Peak Base Camp. The trail becomes more rugged as you ascend, passing glaciers and rocky terrain. Upon reaching the base camp, you’ll prepare for the upcoming summit day.

Day 10: Ascend to Tent Peak High Camp (5,000m/16,400ft) – 4 hours Today’s hike to High Camp is a 4-hour ascent. The terrain becomes steeper and more challenging as you approach the high camp. This is a crucial acclimatization step before the summit push.

Day 11: Summit Tent Peak (5,663m/18,574ft) – 6 hours The big day has arrived! Start early, as it will take about 6 hours to summit Tent Peak. You’ll climb through snow and ice, with incredible panoramic views awaiting you at the top. After celebrating your achievement, descend back to the base camp.

Day 12: Spare Day for Bad Weather This day is reserved in case of bad weather on the summit day. If everything goes according to plan, you can use this day to rest and recover.

Day 13: Trek to Bamboo (2,340m/7,677ft) – 6 hours Start your descent with a 6-hour trek back through beautiful rhododendron forests, passing by charming villages and ending the day at Bamboo, where you can rest for the night.

Day 14: Trek to Jhinu Danda (1,780m/5,838ft) – 5-6 hours Trek for 5-6 hours to Jhinu Danda, known for its natural hot springs. After a long day of trekking, you can soak in the hot springs to relax your muscles and rejuvenate.

Day 15: Trek to Nayapul & Drive to Pokhara (900m/2,952ft) – 5 hours Trek for about 5 hours to Nayapul, where you’ll catch a drive back to Pokhara. Enjoy the scenic ride and take some time to relax in Pokhara after your challenging trek.

Day 16: Drive back to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,265ft) After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu, taking approximately 7 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for rest or any last-minute sightseeing before your departure.
