  • Nepal entry visa fee (easy to obtain the visa on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport – Kathmandu). $30 USD for 15-day, $50 USD for 30 Days, and $125 USD for 90 Days visa.
  • Personal travel and medical insurance.
  • International airfare.
  • Your personal expenses.
  • All the alcoholic and nonalcoholic, soup, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cocoa, mineral water, extra food, cold and hot drinks on trek ( i.e. those you choose to purchase along the way and during evenings in the tea houses)
  • All desserts & sweet things like chocolate, cake, pie, pudding.
  • Hot shower and battery charging at the tea houses.
  • Tips for the guide, porter, and driver (tipping is expected)
  • NOTE: If you return earlier from the trek due to sickness or any problem, the money you paid for the flight, hotel, mountain room, food, etc. is nonrefundable, and you will need to bear the expenses for the hotel, food, etc. in Kathmandu yourself.

Panch Pokhari Trek Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Drive to Chautara (1,400 m) and trek for 3 hours to Sim-Bhanjyang or Syaule (1,500 m)

  • Start your journey with a scenic drive to Chautara, followed by a 3-hour trek through small villages and terraced fields to reach Sim-Bhanjyang or Syaule.

Day 02: Trek to Kami-Kharka Danda (2,300 m) – 5 hours

  • The trek continues with a steady ascent, passing through forested areas, to reach Kami-Kharka Danda, a beautiful viewpoint.

Day 03: Trek to Choyochyo Kharka or Danda (2,800 m) – 6 hours

  • Trek through forests and enjoy panoramic views as you ascend to Choyochyo Kharka or Danda. This day’s walk offers wonderful glimpses of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

Day 04: Trek to Bhaise or Hille Kharka (3,700 m) – 5 hours

  • A gradual climb through forests and meadows leads you to Bhaise or Hille Kharka, offering spectacular views of the mountains.

Day 05: Trek to Nasimpatti (3,800 m) – 4 hours

  • Continue your trek towards Nasimpatti, an alpine meadow offering stunning mountain views.

Day 06: Trek to Panch Pokhari (4,160 m) – 4 hours

  • Reach the highlight of your trek, Panch Pokhari, a sacred alpine lake surrounded by towering peaks.

Day 07: Rest day at Panch Pokhari for exploration and enjoying the stunning surroundings

  • Spend the day relaxing and exploring the Panch Pokhari area. Enjoy panoramic views of the Langtang and Jugal Himal ranges, and soak in the serene environment.

Day 08: Trek back to Nasimpatti – 4 hours

  • Retrace your steps back to Nasimpatti, enjoying the landscape in reverse.

Day 09: Trek to Yarsa-Kharka (2,530 m) – 6 hours

  • Descend through beautiful landscapes and reach Yarsa-Kharka, a village offering insights into local culture and life.

Day 10: Trek to Yangrima-Khola (1,400 m) – 6 hours

  • Continue your descent to Yangrima-Khola, passing through dense forests and villages along the way.

Day 11: Trek to Laghang Gompa (2,600 m) – 6 hours

  • Ascend to Laghang Gompa, an important Buddhist monastery, where you can explore the cultural heritage of the area.

Day 12: Trek to Tarke-Gyang (2,570 m) – 4 hours

  • Continue through forests and villages, making your way to Tarke-Gyang, known for its Sherpa culture and ancient monasteries.

Day 13: Trek to Sermathang (2,693 m) – 4 hours

  • Trek through more villages and forests to reach Sermathang, another picturesque village with panoramic mountain views.

Day 14: Drive back to Kathmandu via Melamche Bazaar and Dhulikhel – 5 hours

  • After completing the trek, drive back to Kathmandu via Melamche Bazaar and Dhulikhel, soaking in the views before returning to the capital.
