Itineraries
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
- Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Our pure Sherpa adventure’s representatives will welcome you and transfer to your hotel, evening our guide meet you and explain you about the trip
Day 2: Drive from Pokhara to Hemja (1 hour) and Trek to Khumai Danda Base Camp (5-6 hours)
- Morning Drive:After breakfast in Kathmandu, drive for approximately 6–7 hours to reach Pokhara. This scenic journey offers wonderful views of rivers and mountains as you pass through the hills of central Nepal.
- Arrival in Pokhara:Upon reaching Pokhara, enjoy the peaceful Phewa Lake area and take a brief rest.
- Drive to Hemja:Afterward, take a short drive from Pokhara to Hemja, the starting point of your trek (about 1 hour).
- Trek to Base Camp:From Hemja, start trekking through beautiful rural landscapes, terraced fields, and dense forests. The trail is moderately steep, passing through small villages.
- Arrival at Base Camp:After a 5-6 hour trek, you will arrive at the Khumai Danda Base Camp, located at around 2,800m (9,186ft). Settle in a local teahouse or camp for the night.
- Overnight:Stay in a teahouse or campsite with views of the Annapurna Range.

Day 3: Trek to Khumai Danda Summit (3,245m / 10,646ft, 3–4 hours)
- Morning Trek:After breakfast, continue your trek to the summit of Khumai Danda. The route becomes steeper as you gain altitude, and you’ll be walking through oak, rhododendron, and bamboo forests.
- Summit Views:Upon reaching the summit (approximately 3–4 hours of hiking), you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the Annapurna Range, including Annapurna II, III, IV, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and Lamjung Himal. The scenery is truly awe-inspiring.
- Overnight:Stay in a teahouse or camp near the summit, enjoying the tranquility of the place and the majestic views.

Day 4: Sunrise at Khumai Danda and Explore the Surroundings
- Sunrise Views:Wake up early to witness the stunning sunrise over the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ranges. The morning light transforms the snowy peaks into a golden spectacle, offering an unforgettable view.
- Explore the Area:After sunrise, spend time exploring the area around Khumai Danda. You can take short hikes to nearby viewpoints or interact with the local Gurung and Magar communities.
- Cultural Immersion:Engage with the locals to learn about their way of life, their culture, and the history of the region. This trek offers a true immersion into the rural lifestyles of Nepal.
- Overnight:Stay at the teahouse or camp near the summit to soak in the peaceful surroundings.

Day 5: Trek to a Local Gurung or Magar Village (3–4 hours)
- Morning Descent:Begin your descent towards a nearby Gurung or Magar village. As you trek downhill, you’ll pass through terraced fields, picturesque villages, and traditional farmhouses.
- Local Interaction:Experience the unique cultural practices of the local people. The Gurung and Magar communities are known for their warm hospitality and rich traditions.
- Homestay Experience:Reach the village and stay in a local homestay. This gives you the opportunity to experience authentic Nepali rural life and enjoy traditional home-cooked meals.
- Overnight:Stay in a village homestay, enjoying the warmth of the locals and their delicious food.

Day 6: Trek to Hemja (3–4 hours) and Drive Back to Pokhara
- Morning Trek:After breakfast, continue your descent back towards Hemja. The trek is gentle, passing through the same forests and villages as the previous days.
- Arrive at Hemja:After around 3–4 hours of walking, you will arrive back at Hemja village.
- Drive Back to Pokhara:From Hemja, take a private or local vehicle back to Pokhara (1-hour drive). Upon arrival, you can relax at your hotel or explore the lakeside area of Phewa Lake.
- Overnight:Stay at your hotel in Pokhara.

Day 7: Sightseeing in Pokhara city
Sightseeing in Pokhara: Alternatively, you can spend the day exploring more of Pokhara’s attractions such as Sarangkot, Davis Falls, or the World Peace Pagoda. And evening enjoy at fewa lake side and Paragliding: It is considered one of the best places in the world for paragliding, offering stunning aerial views of the city, mountains, and Phewa Lake. Zip-lining: Pokhara has one of the longest and steepest zip-lines in the world, located near Sarangkot.Mountain Biking & Rafting: You can also enjoy biking around the lakeside and white-water rafting on the Seti River

Day 8:Â flight back to Kathmandu in the morning and after lunch transfer to Kathmandu international airport to fly back to your beautiful country or if you have enough time you can stay more one day in Kathmandu.
