Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu pure Sherpa adventure’s representative’s will welcome you at Kathmandu airport and transfer to your hotel, evening our guide will explain you about the trek.
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Chame (2,760m) – Duration: 8-9 hours
Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Chame, the administrative center of the Manang district. The drive offers beautiful views of rivers, terraced fields, and traditional villages as you wind your way through the foothills of the Annapurna region. Upon arrival in Chame, relax and prepare for the trek ahead.
Day 03: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,300m) – Duration: 5-6 hours
After breakfast, begin your trek towards Pisang, passing through lush pine forests and quaint villages. The trail offers spectacular views of the surrounding peaks, including Lamjung Himal. As you ascend, you’ll notice the landscape changing, with more alpine vegetation and panoramic views of the Annapurna range.
Day 04: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,500m) – Duration: 5-6 hours
Continue your trek towards Manang, the largest village in the area. The trail takes you through Upper Pisang, a picturesque village with traditional stone houses. Along the way, you’ll have views of Annapurna II, III, and Gangapurna. Upon reaching Manang, enjoy the stunning scenery and explore the village, known for its Tibetan Buddhist monasteries and monasteries that provide a unique cultural experience.
Day 05: Acclimatization Day at Manang
A crucial acclimatization day to help your body adjust to the increasing altitude. Spend the day exploring Manang and surrounding areas. You can take a short hike to Gangapurna Lake or visit the Manang and the Monastery, where you’ll get a deeper understanding of the local Tibetan Buddhist culture. This rest day is vital for the success of your trek, as it minimizes the risk of altitude sickness.
Day 06: Trek from Manang to Thorong Phedi (4,600m) – Duration: 5-6 hours
After acclimatizing, continue your journey towards Thorong Phedi, the base camp for the ascent to Thorong La Pass. The trail gradually ascends through Yak Kharka, a high-altitude meadow where yaks graze. The landscape changes as you climb higher, with stunning views of Annapurna IV, Annapurna II, and Gangapurna. Spend the night at Thorong Phedi in preparation for the challenging pass crossing the next day.
Day 07: Trek to Muktinath via Thorong La Pass (5,416m) – Duration: 7-8 hours
Today is the most challenging day of the trek, as you’ll cross the iconic Thorong La Pass. Start early in the morning to avoid high winds and reach the pass by midday. At an altitude of 5,416 meters, the pass offers panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. After crossing the pass, descend to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Visit the famous Muktinath Temple and enjoy the spiritual ambiance of the area.
Day 08: Drive from Muktinath to Pokhara (850m) – Duration: 7-8 hours
After visiting Muktinath, drive back to Pokhara. The journey takes you through the stunning Marpha Valley, known for its apple orchards, and the scenic towns of Jomsom and Beni. Arriving in Pokhara, you can unwind and relax by Phewa Lake, reflecting on the incredible journey you’ve just completed.Â
Day 9: Pokhara to Kathmandu Flight
After a relaxing morning in Pokhara, catch a scenic 25-30 minute flight back to Kathmandu, offering stunning views of the mountains. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for a free afternoon to rest, explore, or shop.
