Mohare dada trek (7 days)

Overview

The Mohare Danda Trek is a great option for beginners, offering an easy hike through scenic villages, forests, and terraced fields. It provides stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Starting from either Tikhedhunga or Galeshwor, this trek is less crowded than popular routes like the Annapurna Base Camp or Everest Base Camp, making it ideal for those seeking a quieter adventure.

Located just 5 km from Poon Hill, Mohare Danda is a beautiful, lesser-known destination in the Annapurna region, also known as the Myagdi Community Eco Trek. The trail features lush rhododendron forests (especially in spring) and offers a unique, peaceful trekking experience through traditional Magar villages.

The highlights of the trek :-

Stunning Rhododendron forests, which come alive in spring with vibrant blooms, turning the hills into a colorful spectacle. Another standout experience is the sunrise views from Mohare Danda and Poon Hill, where the peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri are bathed in the soft, golden light of dawn, creating a truly magical moment.

For those seeking a shorter trek that blends natural beauty with rich cultural experiences, the Mohare Danda, Poon Hill, and Ghandruk trek is a perfect choice. These three routes are easily combined, offering a more immersive adventure in the heart of the Annapurna region.
