  • Nepal entry visa fee (easy to obtain the visa on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport – Kathmandu). $30 USD for 15-day, $50 USD for 30 Days, and $125 USD for 90 Days visa.
  • Personal travel and medical insurance.
  • International airfare.
  • Your personal expenses.
  • All the alcoholic and nonalcoholic, soup, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cocoa, mineral water, extra food, cold and hot drinks on trek ( i.e. those you choose to purchase along the way and during evenings in the tea houses)
  • All desserts & sweet things like chocolate, cake, pie, pudding.
  • Hot shower and battery charging at the tea houses.
  • Tips for the guide, porter, and driver (tipping is expected)
  • NOTE: If you return earlier from the trek due to sickness or any problem, the money you paid for the flight, hotel, mountain room, food, etc. is nonrefundable, and you will need to bear the expenses for the hotel, food, etc. in Kathmandu yourself.

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal – Trek to Chisapani

  • Travel Duration:5 to 2 hours by vehicle
  • Trek Duration:4-5 hours
  • Altitude:2,300m (Chisapani)
  • Highlights:
    • Early morning departure from Kathmandu to Sundarijal, the starting point of the trek. Sundarijal is located at the entrance to the Langtang National Park, surrounded by lush forests.
    • Begin your trek by walking through picturesque rhododendron and oak forests. The trail takes you through small Tamang and Sherpa villages.
    • Stop at Chisapani, a popular viewpoint that offers sweeping vistas of the Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, and Manaslu Chisapani is an ideal spot to experience the peaceful Himalayan atmosphere and get a first taste of the unique Sherpa culture.
    • Overnight in a teahousein Chisapani, where you’ll get a warm welcome from the locals.

Day 2: Trek from Chisapani to Kutumsang

  • Trek Duration:6-7 hours
  • Altitude:2,470m (Kutumsang)
  • Highlights:
    • After breakfast in Chisapani, begin your trek to Kutumsang, passing through dense forests, small rivers, and picturesque villages.
    • The trail takes you through the village of Mulkharka, offering great opportunities for photographywith panoramic views of the Himalayas.

Day 3: Trek from Kutumsang to Tharepati

    • On this day, the trail gradually ascends through pine forestsand offers wonderful views of the Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, and Jugal Himal
    • Stop at Phulungto enjoy the tranquility of this remote mountain village. From here, the path continues uphill with intermittent views of snow-capped peaks.
    • As you continue, you’ll reach Tharepati, a small settlement offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountain peaks. Tharepati is a great spot for viewing Langtang Lirung, Manaslu, and the entire Jugal Himal

Day 4: Trek from Tharepati to Tarke Gyang

  • Trek Duration:5-6 hours
  • Altitude:2,600m (Tarke Gyang)

    • Start the day with a descentthrough forests of pine and rhododendron to the Sherpa village of Tarke Gyang.

Day 7: Trek from Sermathang to Melamchi Pul Bazar – Drive back to Kathmandu

  • Altitude:1,000m (Melamchi Pul Bazar)

    • On the final day, trek downhill from Sermathangto Melamchi Pul Bazar, a small market town at the confluence of the Melamchi and Indrawati Rivers.
